When searching for the right veterinarian for your pet, we believe you should count on not only superb service, but most importantly - high quality care for your cherished, furry family member. Our clean, advanced clinic facilities consist of a surgery suite, radiograph and ultrasound rooms, a pet hotel, and groom room, allowing our veterinary team to meet all or your pet's potential healthcare needs. An exam at BFAHPH consists of our veterinarians gathering your pet's medical history, and then starting by performing a complete physical examination. Our doctor's check your pet head to tail - checking to make sure each patient's eyes, ears, teeth/gums, heart and lung sounds, muscle structure, lymph nodes, and more, are as they should be for each pet. They are searching for any abnormalities such as growths, joint pain, signs of allergies, dental disease, and more. These full physical exams are key in keeping your pet as healthy as possible. Preventative care can be life-saving, as many medical issues are best treated in the early stages, so early detection of problems is key! This is why we highly recommend an annual and semi-annual wellness check-up for dogs, and at least annual visits for your cats.
