As Humane Society of the Ozarks Board members, Drs. Hokett and Hill would like to cordially invite you to attend the 6th annual preview party for the Tails of Love photo book.
Tails of Love volume 6 is special to us since it commemorates almost 70 years of HSO history. Our 70th anniversary is coming up in 2016. We will kick off a year-long 70th anniversary celebration by the release of our Tails of Love book on Thursday, November 19, 2015.
Join us for an evening of great food and drink, beautiful jazz music and an amazing variety of silent auction items as we celebrate our beautiful coffee table book and how HSO has served animals and people in Northwest Arkansas since 1946. All proceeds support HSO programs including low cost spay/neuter assistance, emergency vet care assistance, rescue/adoption, shelter/rescue outreach, feral cat trap/neuter/return (TNR), senior citizen pet care and community education.
Saturday, May 2 we will be having a blast at Dogwood Walk at Gulley Park in Fayetteville. Best Friends is a proud sponsor and our own, Dr. Hill will be offering microchips for $20 (benefiting the Humane Society of the Ozarks) at the Best Friends booth. Please come enjoy this great cause and fun-filled morning and let’s support the organization that does so much to help animals in NWA.
With over 40 booth vendors, face painting, a fun photo booth, t-shirts, balloons for the kids, dog contests, grilled hotdogs and the family fun walk around the park, it’s sure to be fun for you and your dogs! Registration begins at 9am, dog contests at 10am and the walk at 11am. It’s only $25 to register ($20 for HSO members). Preregister and we will have your shirt and armbands bagged and ready for you to pick up at will call https://hsozarks.org/events-2/dogwood-walk/dww-cart/
